Honestly...I don't know how to go about this post

Honestly...I don't know how to go about this post because so much is still up in the air. So many details I can't share in one post. I have written this once then erased it, came back rewrote it then erased it again and now a post with deleting. Like a cycle that wasn't ending.. Here I am on my 6th attempt.. but why is it so hard for me to share this? Frankly Idk either.. for many reasons I think.. mixed emotions, alot of unknowns and the main one being that we very rarely post anything in real time.

Let me be extremely raw and real with you... Rambles and all 😀

Here goes.. I got diagnosed with borderline ovarian cancer with signs of low malignancy July 19th 2021. With growth from 8cm to 10cm in just two weeks between my ultrasound and MRI alone. Thankfully I have already been to the Cross Cancer Institute and received a tentative date. Surgery to remove everything except my left ovary complete with staging/biopsies of surrounding areas is tentatively end of August. This leaves me vulnerable to recurrence if it isn't full on cancer but tbh I will take the chance over surgical menopause and the many other risks at the age of 30..

To me that feels like such a weeirrdd thing to say or even think about... They can't see right now as the growth has moved in a way that it is touching my bladder, possibly my upper bowel and pushing my uterus forward and to the left. There is no way of knowing currently if it has spread. That's with 2 ultrasounds, 15 vials of blood, a CT scan, MRI and Endometrial biopsy. Only surgery will finish painting this picture.

I guess my biggest reason for sharing is truly awareness. It is something that I think many of us need to remember in many cases on life and that's to follow your gut.. follow the advice of others who have traveled similar paths and intrepid as needed. Honestly, if it wasn't for my Godmother telling me some of the things I was experiencing weren't norm and frankly concerning.. I probably wouldn't have gone and just kept ignoring the many symptoms.

I want to say thanks to my Jeep sister who reached out via DMs after I deleted the original post for the strength. Posting it has such a gravity that I need to face ❤
